Pediatric Advanced Life Support course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children.
The PALS course teaches participants:
- Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
- Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
- Skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest

We recognize that pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers have received training in the past. The HCP Online Renewal Course allows the healthcare provider to complete many of the required course components over the internet.
After you complete the online portion call CPR With Mickey to schedule a convenient time for you to come in to our office and take the skills check-off.
Once you have completed the online portion of the course, print out your completion certificate and call CPR With Mickey to schedule the skills validation portion at our office. This process will usually be between 15 and 30 minutes long. After you have completed both sections of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association Heartsaver E-card through your e-mail.

PALS Heartcode is now available to complete the instructional portion online and schedule the skills evaluation at our office. First go here and complete the PALS Heartcode, then call to schedule the skill evaluation at your convenience
