Certified Nursing Assistants are the entry level into the nursing profession. This course is becoming a requirement for the nursing programs in many states including Georgia. It will introduce the CNA to many nursing processes. It will also help make the rest of your nursing education easier, you will continue to build on the skills taught in this program.
In addition, there are more than eleven thousand jobs expected to open up for the CNA in Georgia over the next few years. This report comes directly from the Georgia Department of Labor and is told to be a very prosperous outlook.

Types of Classes for CNA:
We have 3 types of CNA classes to fit a variety of needs! All 3 classes will provide the same training and skills employers and schools are looking for
AM (DAY Class): 3 weeks long
This class meets Monday-Friday for the first week, and Tuesday-Friday for the second 2 weeks. Monday-Tuesday classes are from 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. and Friday's are clinicals. For clinicals you will meet here at the school and carpool or meet at the Nursing Home by no later than 7:15a.m. and you should be back at the school by 4:00 p.m.
PM (Nights and Weekends Class): 5 weeks long
This class meets Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights form 6:00 p.m-10:00 p.m, with 4 Saturdays. The first Saturday you are to arrive at CPR with Mickey 15 minutes before class starts to recieve your BLS, CPR, and First Aid certifications. The following 3 Saturdays are the clinical rotations. For clinicals, you will meet here at the school and carpool or meet at the Nursing Home by no later than 7:15 a.m. and you should be back at the school by 4pm.
Fri./Sat. (Fridays and Saturdays only Class): 7 weeks long
This class meets only on Fridays and Saturday, classroom days are 8:30 a.m -4:00 p.m. with the clinical days from 7:15 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. *Clinical days will vary for each class
**We do our best to maintain this schedule, however inclement weather and/or holidays may alter this schedule. If this is to occur, we will be on top of making a new schedule and informing the students of the new class days they will need to make up.
Our class fee is competitive and Includes:
*There are only 2 things NOT included- a pair of WHITE NON-POROUS SHOES and a WATCH WITH A SECOND HAND. We have shoes for sale at our office for $20, watches can be picked up at most stores for under $20.
We also have CNA practice skills kits for purchase! Students can take home a kit and practice for the state exam! This includes a standard bedpan, graduate (1,00 cc), emesis basin, emery board, orangewood stick, anti-embolism stocking (size XL), PPE gown, gait belt (50 inches), denture brush, set of practice teeth, toothbrush, food tray, large basin, bag of 10 gloves (glove size will accomidate with the student), standard sphygmomanometer (BP Cuff) and stethescope, cardstock external genitalia for practicing peri & cath care, and a CNA car magnet. The cost is $50.00; without the blood pressure cuff and stethescope is $35.00. Shipping through the USPS is approximately $8.00 additional charge. Pick up of supplies is always free!
