Certified Nursing Assistants are the entry level into the nursing profession. This course is becoming a requirement for the nursing programs in many states including Georgia. It will introduce the CNA to many nursing processes. It will also help make the rest of your nursing education easier, you will continue to build on the skills taught in this program.

In addition, there are more than eleven thousand jobs expected to open up for the CNA in Georgia over the next few years. This report comes directly from the Georgia Department of Labor and is told to be a very prosperous outlook.

CPR With Mickey, Inc.'s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program is your gateway to a career in healthcare!

Types of Classes for CNA:

We have 3 types of CNA classes to fit a variety of needs! All 3 classes will provide the same training and skills employers and schools are looking for

AM (DAY Class): 3 weeks long

This class meets Monday-Friday for the first week, and Tuesday-Friday for the second 2 weeks. Monday-Tuesday classes are from 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. and Friday's are clinicals. For clinicals you will meet here at the school and carpool or meet at the Nursing Home by no later than 7:15a.m. and you should be back at the school by 4:00 p.m. 

  • Upcoming day classes: 
    • January 28th - February 15th, 2019
    • February 18th - March 8th, 2019
    • April 8th - April 26th, 2019
    • April 29th - May 17th, 2019 
    • June 17th - July 5th, 2019
    • August 5th - August 23rd, 2019
    • September 30th - October 18th, 2019
    • December 2nd - December 20th, 2019

PM (Nights and Weekends Class): 5 weeks long

This class meets Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights form 6:00 p.m-10:00 p.m, with 4 Saturdays. The first Saturday you are to arrive at CPR with Mickey 15 minutes before class starts to recieve your BLS, CPR, and First Aid certifications. The following 3 Saturdays are the clinical rotations. For clinicals, you will meet here at the school and carpool or meet at the Nursing Home by no later than 7:15 a.m. and you should be back at the school by 4pm.

    • July 1st - August 3rd, 2019

Fri./Sat. (Fridays and Saturdays only Class): 7 weeks long

This class meets only on Fridays and Saturday, classroom days are 8:30 a.m -4:00 p.m. with the clinical days from 7:15 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. *Clinical days will vary for each class

**We do our best to maintain this schedule, however inclement weather and/or holidays may alter this schedule. If this is to occur, we will be on top of making a new schedule and informing the students of the new class days they will need to make up.

    • January 11th - February 23rd, 2019
    • April 12th - May 25th, 2019
    • May 31st - July 13th, 2019
    • October 4th - November 16th, 2019

Our class fee is competitive and Includes:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support/CPR and First Aid training and completion cards

  • Take home practice kit! Includes everything you need to practice all your skills at home (just add some water and a few washcloths!)
  • AND the State Certification Exam fee

*There is only ONE things NOT included -  a WATCH WITH A SECOND HAND - watches can be picked up at most stores for under $20, DO NOT USE A SMART WATCH.

Cost/ Financial Aid

  • Tuition is $1150

  • WIOA is a federally funded training program that may provide payment assistance if you qualify. General qualifications include people who have been laid off from employment and/or are receiving unemployment. There are a few other sources for financial assistance. Please call the office for more information.
